Constellations Academy

Mastering Constellations: an Introductory Weekend

Saturday 12th November – Sunday 13th November 2016 | NCVO, Kings Cross, London

The Introductory weekend provides an introduction to the rudiments of working with Constellations. This is a new course which offers a broad overview of the key aspects of constellating as a practitioner.

The weekend can be experienced either as a one-off, or as the first in a series of modules that build towards an in-depth training.

Who is it for? The Introductory Weekend has been designed for those intending to go on and become Constellators, as well as:

Individuals with a curiosity about the world’s deeper movements who are eager for a new way of seeing things. They will get a clear sense of how to read information typically hidden to us, and how to reveal invisible dynamics.

Professionals who for the sake of their own development are hungry for innovative ways of expanding their practice. They will be given expert tuition on how to adapt what they learn to their specific context.

Psychotherapists & health therapists who wish to add an innovative systemic dimension to their work with individual clients. As well as learning to listen in new ways to client material, they will get to discover how to release their clients from unconscious entanglements.

Consultants looking for new tools to expand the range of solutions they can offer to organizations, especially in terms of understanding displacement effects within and across teams, and out into the market.

Creatives who are hoping to release new sources of inspiration. In particular they will learn to see their practice as a ‘field’ from which different energies may be drawn closer to or separated from.

What does it cover? The Introductory Weekend will give students a comprehensive overview which focusses on the following:

Principles: how to understand the theory that underpins constellations and includes the guiding principles proposed by Bert Hellinger, as well as contemporary extensions to his original work.

Phenomenology: how to begin to experience and read the subtle signs that emerge in the constellating process.

Presence: how to cultivate an inner stillness in order to make the important decisions necessary during a constellation.

Tutors The Constellations Academy is pleased to announce that its two leading practitioners will be teaching the introductory course.

Nicola Dunn is an experienced psychotherapist, teacher, supervisor and specialist 1:1 constellations coach. She has studied individual, group, couple and family psychotherapy and worked as a psychotherapist for 30 years.
